According to officials, huge explosions were heard in oil and gas facilities in Ukraine as Russian forces have attacked the area.
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Ukrainian troops were holding off Russian troops advancing on Kyiv as the largest assault on a European state since World War Two entered its fourth day.
The town’s mayor says Russian missiles struck an oil terminal southwest of Kyiv, causing an explosion. Online posts showed flames and smoke billowing into the night sky.
