World’s only nonuplets celebrate their first birthday in Morocco

The five baby girls and four newborn boys are currently being cared for at the clinic where they were delivered.

On May 4, the nine nonuplets born to a Malian lady celebrated their first birthday.

The world’s only nonuplets have set a Guinness World Record for the most infants born in a single birth that survive. Their father, Abdelkader Arby, a Malian army officer, told the BBC that all of the infants are OK.

The five baby girls and four boys are still in the care of the Moroccan clinic where they were born, despite the fact that they are crawling, sitting, and even walking, according to the report.

The event will be commemorated by the family and the caretakers and nurses.
