Expect a unique New Year’s Eve celebration with Burj Khalifa views and vibrant ambiance
As the year nears its end, Kai Enzo, Chef Izu’s newest rooftop restaurant that combines Japanese and Mediterranean flavours, is excited to reveal its upcoming New Year’s Eve celebration: the Hanabi New Year’s Eve Party. Embracing the essence of ‘Hanabi,’ the Japanese word for ‘fireworks,’ the event vows to capture the exhilaration, beauty, and vivacity of fireworks, promising a gastronomic feast, lively ambiance, and awe-inspiring views of Burj Khalifa, with doors opening at 7:00 pm.
Located Hyatt Centric Jumeirah, La Mer, Kai Enzo will present an exclusive dinner with a special set menu curated by Chef Izu for this memorable occasion, beginning at 8:00 pm. The evening will continue with lively DJ entertainment, setting the celebratory tone for an unmissable afterparty lasting from 12:00 am to 3:00 am.
The menu boasts a range of appetizers known as ‘Zansai’ in Japanese cuisine including miso aubergine with a shisho hazelnut crust, King crab gyoza with ginger wasabi sauce, fresh oyster with ponzu pearls, and confit duck breast with an orange glaze.
Sushi and Sashimi enthusiasts will be delighted by the offerings including Kinmedai sashimi, salmon belly sashimi, otoro sashimi, scallops aburi and ebi tuna maki with caviar. The culinary adventure extends to simmered delights known as ‘Nimono’ featuring spicy mussels with cherry tomato dashi. The curated menu also offers Wagyu kushiyaki with garlic chips and truffle sauce as a grilled or pan-fired option.
The ‘Agemono’ or deep-fried selection boasts tempura maitake, okra, and kushi fish with wasabi mayo, promising guests a crispy and flavourful experience. Guests can also indulge in options like the charred veal chop with black pepper sauce with sides including crispy baby potato with yuzu cream, or grilled asparagus with tare glaze and chili.
For a delightful ending to the culinary adventure, the dessert selection features white chocolate roll cake with raspberry and yuzu, miso butterscotch with ponzu caramel, green tea cake with sudachi mascarpone and milk ice cream and homemade nama chocolates.
In addition to the main dining area, which boasts an elegant ambiance centered around the central bar, Kai Enzo’s new terrace offers an exquisite setting for an extraordinary Hanabi New Year’s Eve Party. Guests can enjoy an unforgettable culinary experience with stunning views of the Dubai skyline, and revel in the perfect Dubai weather while witnessing the spectacular New Year’s fireworks at Burj Khalifa.
