The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has initiated the establishment of a fully equipped field hospital in the southern Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, as part of the ‘Gallant Knight 3’ humanitarian operation.
Under the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Emirati field hospital will have a capacity of 150 beds, offering medical services such as general surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, gynecology, and various clinics.
This initiative aims to provide essential medical support to the Palestinian people and is part of the UAE’s broader efforts to address the challenges faced by the health system in Gaza. The Ministry expresses gratitude for the support of volunteers in the “Tarahum for Gaza” campaign.
