UAE President orders disbursement of AED1.5 billion in housing benefits for Abu Dhabi citizens

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, has ordered the distribution of housing subsidies in order to guarantee social stability and to assist citizens.

In 2022, the second package comprised home loans, housing assistance, and loan repayment exemptions. According to the Ruler of Abu Dhabi’s directions, housing perks include subsidies for dwellings and housing loans of AED1.5 billion.

Retirees and relatives of dead mortagors will have exemptions from load repayments.

The packages are part of the UAE’s continued commitment to enhance residents’ contributions to society’s growth by preserving excellent living standards as members of tightly knit, linked communities.
