According to the Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), new timings for paid parking and toll gates will be implemented on July 15, allowing for a change in free time for public parking fees as well as road tolls.
Residents may enjoy free parking and the ‘Darb’ toll on Sundays instead of Fridays, and the department confirmed that the decision is in keeping with the needs of the transportation industry.
Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre, part of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, announced that cars can now park for free on Sundays in Abu Dhabi and will not be charged to pass through the city’s Darb toll gates.
