Direct flights from Dubai to Vancouver are now available through Air Canada

Air Canada has launched a groundbreaking four-times weekly direct route between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Vancouver International Airport (YVR), marking their inaugural non-stop connection from the Middle East to Western Canada.

Operating with the advanced Boeing 787-9 aircraft, the service offers three classes: Economy, Premium Economy, and the luxurious Air Canada Signature Class, providing amenities like lie-flat seating, gourmet dining, and priority services. The flight schedules are designed for seamless connections to Air Canada’s North American network and Emirates’ global routes. Bookings are accessible through various channels including aircanada.com, the Air Canada App, and travel agencies.

Mary-Jane Lorette, Air Canada’s VP of International Affairs, highlighted the significance of this expansion into rapidly growing markets. The move to Dubai International Terminal 3 solidifies the partnership between Air Canada and Emirates, granting passengers access to over 200 destinations through a single ticket. Eligible travelers can also enjoy Emirates’ Business Class Lounges, while Aeroplan Members receive benefits on Emirates-operated flights.

This development was praised by Rob Whitehouse of Dubai Airports and Mr. Tracy Reynolds, Consul General of Canada in Dubai, emphasizing the positive impact on tourism, business, and the Canadian community in the UAE.

Air Canada offers pre-clearance for U.S. Customs and Immigration in select Canadian cities, along with a range of amenities including Maple Leaf Lounges and exquisite cuisine curated by renowned Canadian experts. Passengers can also earn and use points through the Aeroplan loyalty program.
