Dubai’s Emirates Group announces salary hike, increased allowances for employees after record profit

Dubai’s Emirates Group has announced a salary hike and increased allowances for its employees following a record profit in the 2022-23 financial year.

Starting from July, employees in Dubai will receive a 5% increase in basic pay, along with improved accommodation and transportation packages. An additional 10% increase in education support allowance will be offered from September 2023.

The group, which includes Emirates Airline and dnata, also granted a 24-week bonus to employees. The company’s robust financial performance resulted in a profit of AED10.9 billion and revenue of AED119.8 billion. The salary adjustments are in response to the rising cost of living and inflation globally.
