According to the report of Khaleej Times, when the Floating Bridge is closed, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed that the toll-free hours on Al Maktoum Bridge apply.
The Floating Bridge will be closed Monday through Friday from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning January 15. Saturday at 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday
“Yes, Salik costs would not be applied on Al Maktoum Bridge when the Floating Bridge is closed,” RTA said.
Dubai’s autonomous road toll collection system is known as Salik. A price of Dh4 is automatically withdrawn from a prepaid account each time a vehicle passes through a Salik toll point.
