Over 290,000 students set to begin classes in UAE government schools today

Today is the first day of lessons for the new academic year (2023–2024) in UAE government schools, where more than 290,000 pupils and over 23,492 teachers will be present.

In congratulating students and teachers, Minister Sarah Al Amiri, who is in charge of Public Education and Advanced Technology, emphasised the value of dedication and hard effort for a successful educational journey. 

She also acknowledged parents as crucial collaborators in fostering the expansion of the public education system. The UAE looked forward to a year of accomplishments and excellence while highlighting its commitment to its students and education.
