Starting February 1, all fully vaccinated passengers will no longer be required to undergo facility quarantine
According to an Inquirer.net report, these passengers will be required to present a negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours prior to departure from the country of origin.
They are, however, advised to self-monitor for symptoms for seven days. They are also required to report to their local government unit (LGU) upon the manifestation of symptoms.
Incoming passengers must present the following proofs of vaccination: World Health Organization (WHO) International Certificates of Vaccination and Prophylaxis, VaxCertPH, and National/state digital certificate of the foreign government which recognizes VaxCertPH.
Meanwhile, unvaccinated or partially vaccinated passengers will be required to undergo facility-based quarantine until the release of their negative RT-PCR test taken on the fifth day.
Fully vaccinated nationals of non-visa countries, on the other hand, will be allowed to enter the Philippines, subject to several conditions, starting February 10.
The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) has also temporarily suspended the classification of countries as ‘green’, ‘yellow’, and ‘red’.
